Stunning Good News from the Solar Eclipse

In our new report on “The Solar Eclipse of May 2013: Its Impact on the Markets” we described specific stocks, commodities, and economic issues likely to come into focus through this cosmic event.

We also specifically mentioned Bangladesh as one of the world’s hot spots most likely to be impacted by the solar eclipse.

At the time that this part of the report was written, that country was already in the news because of the collapse of a Rana Plaza factory in Dhaka, Bangladesh which killed hundreds of garment workers on the eve of the April 25 lunar eclipse.

The catastrophe was one of the worst industrial accidents in history– the death toll had already risen to more than 500 when we reported on it, but since then then number of fatalities has passed 1,000.

But today, just hours after the big solar eclipse had appeared in the sky, the news came from Bangladesh that a young woman had miraculously been found alive amidst the rubble of the collapsed factory.

Girl Found Alive in Bangladesh Rescue on Solar Eclipse

Somehow she had managed to survive for 17 days before the rescuers found her; the rescue gave us an important reminder that solar eclipses are not only powerful, but they can also bring powerful good news as well as negative events!

Great Trading Results from the Last Eclipse

During my radio interview with Michael Yorba yesterday, he mentioned a trading chart that I had sent him which detailed one of the successful trades we had suggested in the eclipse report last November.

Here’s the chart I sent him (click on the chart to enlarge it):

BLC Eclipse Trade Results

Our trade of Belo Corporation (BLC) brought a return of 32.6% in 90 trading days, thanks to the power of the solar eclipse.

This was just one of five profitable trades that we detailed in the November eclipse report.

In the newest eclipse report, “The Solar Eclipse of May 2013: Its Impact on the Markets”, we list six high-probability trades that are coming up following the solar eclipse that takes place later today.

Traders Network Interview with Michael Yorba

I got a call this morning from Michael Yorba at the Traders Network. “I know there’s a big eclipse coming up,” he said. “Can you come on my show this afternoon to talk to my listeners about it?”

Naturally I agreed. I’ve been a repeat guest on Michael’s radio and television shows for a number of years, and I was pleased that he invited me to join him again.

When we got together on the air, we had a great chat about what to look for in the markets immediately after the solar eclipse this week, and I talked about how our tested eclipse-trading strategies have been working to set up enormously profitable trades, as described in the new monograph on “The Solar Eclipse of May 2013: Its Impact on the Markets”:.

You can listen to the whole interview here:

Profitable Eclipse Trading with a NASDAQ Stock

One of the stocks featured in last year’s special report on “The Solar Eclipse of November 2012: Its Impact on the Markets” was Charels & Colvard Ltd. (NASDAQ – CTHR).

CTHR was identified as a potential trading candidate because of the alignment the solar eclipse made with the company’s first-trade horoscope. The firm is a jewelry manufacturer and distributor based in North Carolina, and even though it’s not a heavily-traded issue it provided a great opportunity for astro-traders seeking short-term profits with minimal risk.

I’ve just been looking at the record of the trade in this stock that got underway after the eclipse in November, along with the other stocks covered in the November report. The results are pretty impressive!

You can get a review of how this trade was structured, including the use of stop-loss levels in the trade as it progressed in a new video I’ve just posted on YouTube. Take a look at:

Solar Eclipse Sets Up Big Trading Opportunities

The solar eclipse earlier this week clearly had a major impact on the stock market, but it also set up some excellent trading opportunities, too!

Since 2007 I’ve put a lot of work into studying the effects of solar eclipses.

With each solar eclipse that has taken place I’ve looked into the historical eclipses which have had connections or similarities to the current event, doing extensive research to get a better perspective on the kind of economic and political trends that have been associated with these precursor eclipses, as well as some insights into the potential impact on the markets.

The by-product of that research has been a series of monographs, an Eclipse Report on each individual eclipse, published as a downloadable e-book by Harmonic Research Associates. (You can find a complete listing of these monographs by clicking HERE).

As a part of those Eclipse Report monographs, I’ve developed a specific strategy for trading with eclipses, and it’s been enormously successful in setting up profitable equities trades.

In fact, over 93% of the trades we’ve taken using the Eclipse Astro-Trading Strategy have been profitable!

Take a look at this new 9-minute YouTube video, which describes this trading strategy in some detail:

As you can see, trading with eclipses can be quite worthwhile. If you haven’t already done so, be sure to get your copy of the latest monograph, “The Solar Eclipse of November 2012:  Its Impact on the Markets” at http://bit.ly/Eclipse1211.

The potential profits from the current eclipse trades are all ready and waiting for you!

Financial Astrology at TraderPlanet.com

The TraderPlanet.com website asked me to contribute an article on financial astrology for their site, and it appeared there yesterday.

I’ve really been pleased with the positive response it’s been getting!

In the article, I discuss the basic strategies behind using astrology in trading, and explain why it’s so important to have the astro-trading advantage if you’re active in the markets.

Since the article was scheduled for publication just after this week’s solar eclipse, I also included some specific information about the ways that eclipses can move the markets.

I even added a couple of charts that illustrate just how dramatic the effects of eclipses can be!

You can read the article by going to http://www.traderplanet.com/articles/view/162297-financial-astrology-can-boost-your-trading-results/.

Take a look– and when you visit the site, be sure to “like” the article and leave a comment!

We want to do all we can to encourage mainstream trading sits like this to pay more attention to the power of financial astrology and the astro-trading advantage!

Solar Eclipse Smashes the Stock Market

If anybody ever tells you that astrological events don’t influence the market, just point out what happened in equities trading yesterday.

The Dow took a 185-point nosedive, down 1.45%.

The Russell 2000 lost 2%, and the NASDAQ lost 1.29%, dropping down to test support levels dating back to last July.

The S&P 500 plunged by 1.39% and finished the session below its 200-day moving average, a very bearish signal.

Of course there’s been a good bit of weakness in the markets recently, so a day of big losses should have come as no surprise. And there were war worries, European nervousness, and Fiscal Cliff anxiety. . .

. . . and a big impact from a major solar eclipse!

As I pointed out recently in my monograph on The Solar Eclipse of November 2012: Its Impact on the Markets, “eclipses are the single most significant  celestial phenomena that we need to reckon with in financial forecasting and market timing.”

This week’s solar eclipse wasn’t even visible in the U.S., but it still slammed the stock market.

The eclipse reached totality about an hour after the closing bell on Tuesday, and as I watched the market action that day it was easy to see its gathering influence.

Stocks had traded in positive territory for most of the day, but about an hour before the close things began to go south and the major indices all ended up with losses by the time the closing bell rang.

In yesterday’s trading session, the force of the eclipse was in full effect, and stock prices struggled to stay afloat to no avail, then sold off with a vengeance.

So yes, astrological events do have an effect on the markets! But that’s only part of the story.

The other part is this: the effects of the November 13 solar eclipse aren’t over yet!

We’re likely to see more downside action today, of course, but the solar eclipse will continue to make its influence felt, no just for days, but for months to come, well into the first half of 2013.

That’s one of the key lessons discussed in the monograph on The Solar Eclipse of November 2012: Its Impact on the Markets. It lists the exact dates to look for activations of the eclipse in the markets, and suggest some specific stocks to trade so you can get the eclipse energy working for you instead of against you.

This would be a really good time to review your copy and make some trading plans in the light of what’s coming up. If you’ve haven’t gotten a copy yet, it’s still available at http://bit.ly/Eclipse1211.

W. D. Gann, George Bayer, and the Facebook IPO

The shares for Facebook (FB) begin trading tomorrow, and there’s lots of excitement about it.

In fact, I’ve got dozens of readers and students asking about it. They all want to know– should they be buying FB right away?

With Uranus conjoining the Midheaven in the First-Trade horoscope, we can certainly expect a volatile start for this new stock’s trading career.   But does that mean buying this stock right now is a sure-fire winner? I’m not so sure.

In fact, I think some extra caution may be in order here, especially considering the Sun/Admetos conjunction, the Mars/Chiron opposition, and the fact that this stock starts trading right before a solar eclipse (right after the eclipse would have been much more favorable).

And what would the astro-trading masters of the last century have to say about the Facebook opportunity?

W. D. Gann, writing in 1950 in his book The Magic Word, made this comment about the ideal form for a Friend Request: “Enemies disappear quickly when you learn to love them,” he said. “You will then find that they become your friends.”

George Bayer was even more direct about the kind of opportunity being presented now. In his fascinating book with the cumbersome title Stock and Commodity Traders’ Hand-Book of Trend Determination: Secrets of Forecasting Values Especially Commodities including Stocks, published in 1940, Bayer offered this sage advice to the astro-traders of his day: “Select one active stock that sells between 25 and 75 dollars. Stick to this one; learn to know this stock well and the rule or rules it likes to follow. The stock you select should be listed on the Exchange for many years. It then has history behind which can be put down on chart paper. Leave new stocks to the public.”

Although they each had their own distinctive approach to the markets, I’m not sure either of these legendary astro-traders would be buying into the Facebook offering if they were alive today.

My personal choice is to watch from the sidelines as well.
