Forecasting The Bitcoin Boom

The current bitcoin boom has been right in line with my forecast from three weeks ago.

Shortly after the holiday break for the Fourth of July, we did a cycle analysis for bitcoin, and identified a potential turning point for the cryptocurrency.

Our cycle work highlighted July 20 as a critical date.

Setting The Stage for a Bitcoin Boom

Trading in bitcoin was weak and congested at the time. Our cycle chart revealed the likelihood of weaker prices ahead.

At least until July 20th.

That’s when the cycles looked ready for a turn, setting the stage for a move to the upside.

It looked like a possible set-up for a bitcoin boom.

Doing A Back-Test

That’s why we decided to dig a little deeper.

We identified fourth-harmonic alignments between Mars and Kronos as key factors in bitcoin price swings.

And that’s what we took a look at in the previous trading history for the cryptocurrency.

The results were surprising, to say the least.

These particular planetary configurations have a high level of correspondence with the likelihood of a bitcoin boom.

Sharing Our Results

After making a forecast of just such an event coming up on July 20, we were of course interested in watching the bitcoin trading action.

So when bitcoin started to rally right on schedule, we knew our astro-trading signal was working fine.

That’s why I responded to Larry Pesavento’s invitation to join him on the air yesterday with a lot of enthusiasm.

When we got on the broadcast of his Trade What You See program on TFNN, I shared the bitcoin research and forecast.

I mentioned the book on Bitcoin Astrology.

We also discussed the current bitcoin boom – and what it means for future upcoming trading prospects.

And of course I grabbed the recording of our entire conversation.

You can watch it all here:

Saturn Resonance in the S&P

I’ve been watching Saturn resonance lately.

We’re seeing it in the continuing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We’re seeing it in the major economic downturn that’s underway.

And I’ve been using Saturn resonance to come up with a forecast for the S&P 500.

That’s what I was sharing with Larry Pesavento on Friday.

We got together for an extended chat during his Trade What You See program on TFNN.

As usual, there were questions from listeners.

We talked about the impact of the coronavirus on our lives.

But the main focus was my forecast for the S&P.

That’s where Saturn resonance came in.

Saturn resonace in price chart
Saturn resonance combined with Pluto early in 2020 to set the stage for a trading top and a major market sell-off.

I started out by observing the price action in the market on the date of the recent Saturn/Pluto conjunction.

That was on January 12.

I then noted the price alignment with the trading low in effect on January 12 and the high for the day when the market gapped lower on February 24.

Saturn Resonance: “You Can’t Make This Stuff Up”

Larry was quite impressed when he saw that correspondence on my trading chart.

“You can’t make this stuff up,” he said.

Then, when I went on to share my more recent charting work on the S&P, he really got excited.

Apparently there are not many market pundits who are willing to make precise predictions.

That seems to be the case whether or not you’re talking to an astrologer.

But, by using Saturn resonance with my charting, I was able to do just that.

As it turns out, the ninth harmonic is the most powerful resonant dynamic in play right now.

That’s true for both Saturn and for Pluto as well.

You can get the full story – and the specifics of the general forecast and the targeted prediction – when you watch this video of our full conversation on Friday during his show.

As Larry says, “You can’t make this stuff up.”

That’s why the astro-trading advantage is so powerful.

By the way, the free webinar that I mentioned is something that I’m currently offering every Tuesday as a live presentation. Be sure to join us if you want to make your trading easier and more profitable.

Mercury Neptune Astro-Trading

A Mercury Neptune conjunction is just ahead.

It’s not an extremely rare planetary alignment, but it’s still worth watching.

And it’s coming up again in just a few days, on Friday, April 3rd.

Mercury Neptune & S&P

If this Mercury Neptune is true to form, it’s likely to signal a big move upward in stock prices.

That’s why this particular Mercury Neptune set-up was one of the three big astrological events I talked about this morning.

I was the featured guest earlier today on Larry Pesavento’s show on TFNN – Trade What You See.

When we got together on the air, this upcoming planetary event was a big focus.

The Mercury Neptune Meeting Was Just One Topic

Larry and I discussed the likely market impact of the upcoming Mercury Neptune event, of course.

But we talked about the Cupido retrograde station on Thursday, the Jupiter Pluto conjunction on Saturday, the impact of the coronavirus, and more.

You can see the whole interview here:

Market Correction Conversation

It’s time for a market correction.

That’s what we began to understand a few days ago.

We were looking at the potential impact of the Zeus retrograde station.

It clearly suggested that we were about to see a definitive trading top.

And as a top became more clearly expressed in the trading action this week, we began to see the bigger picture.

A market correction is on the way.

Defining A Market Correction

So what’s a market correction?

In a general sense, it’s a major price pull-back from a market that’s been in an extended rally.

Prices head lower.

But the question is, how much lower?

Loosely speaking a market correction is a move to the downside that’s big enough to get your attention.

It’s big enough to make you feel pretty uncomfortable, especially if you’re holding long positions in the market, and are hoping that higher prices are ahead instead.

But according to some respected market technicians, a market correction should be much more precisely defined.

To qualify, a sell-off in the market has to bring a move to the downside of at least 10 percent, measuring from its most recent peak.

10 PERCENT MARKET CORRECTION

Under the current circumstances, that “most recent peak” was the all-time record high for the S&P 500, at 3337.77, which was set intraday on Wednesday, January 22.

That means that a real market correction now would be a drop of 333.78, for an ultimate price target of 3003.99.

Is A Correction On The Way?

A drop of 333.78 points is a pretty big move, whether or not a Zeus retrograde station is involved.

But even so, it’s entirely possible.

In fact, during the trading action on Friday the S&P 500 gave up 44 points during the course of the trading day, and then closed at 3295.47, off more than 30 points for the session.

That big plunge took place just after I had joined Larry Pesavento for conversation about the potential for a correction in equities.

We got together on his Trade What You See program on TFNN.

Astro-Cycles 2020 January-March
Transneptunian factors mark key turning points in the projections for astro-cycles in the first quarter of 2020.

During our chat we discussed this astro-cycle chart that I had featured on page 1 of a recent Financial Cycles Weekly newsletter.

It highlights the potential power of transneptunian stations in setting up a potential correction between now and the middle of February, with a likely rebound after that.

And as is usually the case, Larry seemed particularly intrigued by the influence of the transneptunians. He shared a great story about encountering them with Bill Meridian and Alphee Lavoie in Singapore.

Our conversation was brief; you can hear it all in this video from Larry’s show:

Gann Date Expectations

We’re on the eve of a vital W. D. Gann date.

That means it’s time to assess the market outlook.

December 21 marks the Winter Solstice in the northern hemisphere and the Summer Solstice in the southern hemisphere.

As a “quartering day” in the year it’s a key Gann date.

Gann Date: The Winter Solstice
Venus provides some powerful triggering effects on the December 21 Solstice Gann Date.

This year’s event has special significance, however.

That’s thanks to Venus aligning in a square to Uranus and an opposition to Vulcanus at the
same time.

The Venus Gann Date Effects

Venus brings money, cultural affairs, alliances and women’s  issues into focus, with big implications for the markets and geopolitics:

Confused or deceptive communications [Mercury/Neptune]

Severe limits to growth and expansion [Jupiter/Admetos]

More conservative policies and ideals [Saturn/Poseidon]

Forceful actions & crack-downs by State authorities [Mars/Kronos]

Explosive disruptions and upheavals [Uranus/Vulcanus]

The solstice sets the stage for the coming months, so we can look for these themes to be emphasized as we move into 2020.

Larry Pesavento’s Perspective

The Gann Date also came up when I joined Larry Pesavento on his TFNN shows yesterday.

We discussed it as a potential market reversal point.

Stocks Approach Gann Date
Shown here as of Wednesday’s close the S&P 500 index has been tracking a Mars line as it moves toward the solstice Gann Date and a possible encounter with resistance. We expect the Pluto line to provide a moderating influence at about 3223.50.

We also looked at the current trading pattern for the S&P 500, with an eye toward Mars and Pluto.

Both planets are helping to structure the market action right now.

Farewell To A Friend

During our conversation yesterday Larry and I also shared stories about Jeanne Long.

Jeanne died Monday after some years of declining health.

She made major contributions to Gann studies.

And to financial astrology

And to astro-trading.

She was truly a beautiful soul.

I’ll miss her deeply.

George Bayer According To Larry Pesavento

George Bayer was one of the most successful – and enigmatic – financial astrologers of the 20th century.

Like W. D. Gann, he was an astro-trading pioneer.

His books on astro-trading and market analysis with planetary factors are hard to come by.

He privately published much of his work in the 1940’s.

But the insights of George Bayer are still valuable today.

That’s one of the things that came up in my interview yesterday with Larry Pesavento.

We had a great conversation on his show on TFNN.

A Personal George Bayer Connection

Larry talked about meeting George Bayer’s daughter, Georgia.

It was an encounter I had never heard about before.

We chatted about George Bayer in the midst of other topics.

Like current market trends.

And the impact of Mercury retrograde.

We focused on the significance of the Mercury direct station.

We checked out the influence of Neptune as well.

Not to mention the Mercury retrograde return on Pearl Harbor Day.

George Bayer paid attention to the speed of Mercury as well as cycles like this one

These are all key events likely to impact the markets in the coming weeks.

Here’s the full video recording of our conversation:

As I noted above, Bayer’s work is well worth studying if you want to master astro-trading.

He understood that forecasts can be made quite successfully by using repeating cycles of what happened previously.

That’s one of the keys to astro-trading.

Here are a couple of Bayer’s comments about astrology and the markets:

  • “An egg is our number 0, the beginning of all things. Just check an astronomical ephemeris and see how often important movements begin in all sorts of stocks or commodities when a planet reaches the ‘egg’ in declination or latitude, or even in longitude!”
  • “At the time a planet is within [the halo of the Sun] I have found that such a planet is useless and has little or no effect; but on either side of the halo, it again has its effect upon human beings as well as on stocks or commodities that it is present.  The halo of the Sun is measured in degrees on each side of the sun (about 10 degrees).”

By the way, Larry Pesavento also mentions Bayer’s contributions in some of his books on trading techniques. Larry, like George Bayer, is an inspiration himself!

It Sounds Cool, That’s For Sure!

“It certainly sounds cool. That’s for sure!’

That’s what Larry Pesavento said yesterday after our interview.

We had gotten together for a conversation on his TFNN program, Trade What You See.

Our main focus was bitcoin.

We examined the crytocurrency from three astro-trading perspectives.

First I reviewed the planetary price line structures currently defining the bitcoin trading action.

After that I shared by updated astro-cycle projections for bitcoin. Our latest work focused more closely on the impact of shorter-term cycles. That’s because we have a short trading history to work with.

This is the kind of cycles research that went into our book on Bitcoin Astrology.

Finally, after the commercial break, Larry and I discussed the impact of Mercury retrograde stations on the price of bitcoin.

This is a particularly powerful astro-trading trigger. It not only sounds cool to connect bitcoin rallies with Mercury stations. It’s also verified by our back-testing!

Along the way, there were some great questions from listeners to the show. It’s really wonderful to have such an interactive audience!

In response to those questions, we also chatted about current stock market conditions.

But the biggest item of curiosity was the role of transneptunian factors in astro-trading.

It Certainly Sounds Cool

We had a chance to discuss some of the background of the transneptunians and their amazing role in astrology. The move from the pre-World War II Hamburger Schule to the post-war presentation of the knowledge as Uranian Astrology is interesting.

And Larry commented that Bill Meridian had rectified his time of birth. Bill used the transneptunian planets to fine-tune his calculations in coming up with a precise birth time for Larry.

All that discussion added up to Larry’s observation that while the transneptunian factors may be challenging to understand, “it certainly sounds cool.”

This video replay features the complete interview from October 25.

Planetary Resistance Confronts Markets

Planetary resistance.

It’s a trading concept astro-traders use.

But most other traders have never even heard of it.

But there it is.

Resistance?

Planetary resistance is like regular resistance in technical analysis.

It’s an upper limit.

Essentially, it’s a zone that inhibits prices from going higher.

In technical analysis, we can find resistance in previous market highs.

More specifically, a high that’s held up after being tested repeatedly offers strong resistance.

When that happens, prices are unlikely to go higher.

Or we can use technical tools to project resistance zones.

A Fibonacci retracement. A Fibonacci extension.

Or an Elliott Wave target.

It doesn’t really matter how we get there.

By defining resistance, we can set price targets.

We can clarify our trading expectations.

And we can trade more effectively as a result.

What About Planetary Resistance?

But what makes planetary resistance different?

It’s market resistance derived from planetary positions.

So correspondences between planetary positions and market prices are a key.

As described in the book Gann Secrets Revealed Volume 1,  each degree of the zodiac matches specific prices.

By understanding those matches, we can track trading action.

Then, based on specific planetary alignments, we can anticipate trend changes.

It’s a fabulous trading tool.

That’s why I discussed planetary resistance with Larry Pesavento yesterday on his TFNN show.

We chatted about this S&P chart:

Mars Planetary Resistance with S&P
The red lines on the chart correspond to the positions of Mars. The blue lines represent Saturn. Note the heavier red line moving diagonally near the top of the chart. This first-harmonic Mars line clearly defines planetary resistance. The lighter red lines are Mars harmonic increments.

It highlights planetary price lines for Mars and Saturn.

With either stocks or commodities, planetary price lines reveal trading opportunities.

“There Must Be Something There.”

So I shared this chart with Larry.

He noted that “You mention Mars. You know W. D. Gann spent a great deal of time… And a lot of his charts have markings of Mars and things like that. Is that the same type of work you’re working on?”

I confirmed that connection. In response, Larry noted the precision of planetary resistance.

He looked at the price bars on the chart. Then he said “it’s amazing how they bounce off those red lines. There must be something there. That’s for sure!”

Admetos Spotlight Highlights Gold

All markets will be in the Admetos spotlight when the transneptunian factor makes its retrograde station at the end of August.

Admetos will begin its annual period of retrograde motion on August 31. That provides a potential pivot point for the markets.

In fact, Admetos retrograde stations are frequently followed by an upward trend in stock market prices.

That was a key topic I discussed with Larry Pesavento earlier today. I’m always glad to be his guest.

Today I focused on the Admetos Spotlight during his broadcast of the Trade What You See program on TFNN.

Gold In The Admetos Spotlight

In particular, I shared my research on the impact of Admetos stations on the price of Gold.

When the yellow metal is in the Admetos spotlight at the time of the retrograde station, there’s a distinct buying opportunity.

That’s what’s happening now.

Here’s the video of my interview with Larry, including details on the reasons behind this Admetos spotlight trade in Gold.

Not all transneptunian stations have the same kind of impact, of course.

But in this case I think it’s worth paying attention to Gold in the Admetos spotlight!

The Astro-Trading Intensive

By the way, during the interview Larry Pesavento also asked me about our new Astro-Trading Intensive training program.

This brand-new training program has just been released in its online version, and it’s getting rave reviews.

The Astro-Trading Intensive is designed to help you get the most from your astro-trading experience. It removes confusion and uncertainty.

It gets you past the sense of overwhelm that sometimes sets in when you try to learn something new.

Most of all it moves youtoward profitable trading. It takes you by the hand and guides you step by step toward real astro-trading results.

It’s a great way to get up to speed with the astro-trading advantage in a short period of time.

Poseidon Power?

“What’s Poseidon got to do with the markets?”

That was one of the questions that came up on Thursday when I joined Larry Pesavento for an interview on his Trade What You See program on TFNN.

We were discussing the potential impact of the transneptunian factor Poseidon.

I suggested that the July 29 direct station by Poseidon could usher in a shift in market direction.

That’s especially likely with the Poseidon station coming just a couple of days before the end of the Mercury retrograde period on July 31.

And sure enough, with today’s Poseidon station the S&P closed down 0.16% for the day.

The shift in the markets was not the only thing that Larry and I talked about on Thursday.

We also got into bitcoin, birthdays, and a whole lot more.

Here’s the entire interview segment:
